WTF1 Talent becomes WTF Talent

WTF1 Talent rebrands to WTF Talent and opens new divisions to include motorsport, sport, automotive and lifestyle

LONDON, UK (Tuesday, 25th June 2024) WTF1 Talent, part of The Race Media, expands its roster and outreach to include new markets in motorsport, sport, automotive and lifestyle. As part of the expansion, the business unit has rebranded to WTF Talent, and taken on a new US-based consultant to support its US growth.

WTF Talent has arrived

WTF1 Talent was launched in the summer of 2023 with a small roster of F1 influencers, with the goal of supporting their growth, providing them with the tools to succeed, creating partnership opportunities, and professionalising reporting against KPIs for brands that had an appetite to leverage authentic and quality UGC to support their narratives.

After delivering over 150 individual brand campaigns, the roster has swelled to over 40 creators who have spent the past 12 months travelling to F1 events around the world creating content for brands. The talent roster now boasts creators in 12 countries across 5 continents, with a quest to lead the influencer landscape across sports and entertainment.

To support the growth of the business and the expansion into new global markets, WTF1 Talent has been rebranded to become WTF Talent. Dropping the ‘1’ reflects the diversification of the content creators that the company now represents, including the signing of talent working across NFL, travel, lifestyle and tennis.

Speaking at the relaunch, Head of Talent, Tim Silvey commented:

“This move marks a significant milestone in the growth of our Talent business. We’ve been hugely satisfied with the appetite from B2C and B2B brands to engage with creators across TikTok, Instagram and YouTube. The time felt right to move our learnings into other areas and build on the success to date. Our roster, which is growing weekly, has a unique blend of creators from all parts of the globe, who share their passions for sport and entertainment with a receptive and engaged social audience. We look forward to this next phase of our development as we continue to mark our expanding presence in the influencer marketplace”.

While the UK market remains strong, the US continues to boom, and in line with that, we have taken on Cady Chow, formerly VP of Communications at Circuit of the Americas, to lead our Talent and brand outreach in the States and support our London based Head of Talent, Tim Silvey, and Talent Executive, Luke Francis, to cement a truly global presence.

“I’m so pleased that after working with the Talent roster at the USGP last year, that I can now bring my knowledge of the US market to the team. We’re already connecting Talent with rights holders and brands in North America and I’m joining the business as a consultant at an exciting time in the growth of influencer led marketing across multiple industries.”
