LONDON, UK (Wednesday, October 20, 2021) – The Race Media has added another major brand to its ever-growing list of partners with Elgato becoming the official streaming partner of WTF1.
A world-leading provider of audiovisual technology and game capture hardware for content creators, Elgato will assist WTF1 to publish the highest quality sound and visuals for its podcast and watch-along videos. The WTF1 team will upgrade their production equipment with the Elgato Facecam, Wave:3, and Key Light.
Elgato joins other leading brands who have partnered with The Race and WTF1 including DHL, Red Bull Racing, Mercedes AMG F1, F1 Authentics, F1TV, F1 Experiences, Gran Turismo, Fanatec, Heineken, Noble Chairs, Neom and Logitech.
To celebrate the collaboration, WTF1 has launched an exclusive limited edition run of custom design faceplates for the Elgato Stream Deck Mk2. The Elgato Stream Deck features 15 customizable LCD keys that allows content producers to instantly trigger unlimited actions – switching video and audio inputs and more.
“We are extremely excited to have such a fantastic brand as Elgato on board to be our streaming partner.” WTF1’s Matt Gallagher said about the partnership.
“I remember starting using their products years ago and it was a complete game-changer for me. We’re looking forward to raising the bar even higher for our podcast with the use of Elgato’s microphones, lighting equipment, and cameras.”
Elgato will be the title sponsor of the WTF1 podcast, which is live streamed to our Team WTF1 members and available as recorded on Youtube. The Race Media’s collection of podcasts recently passed the 13 million play and view milestone.
Elgato will also bring fans a new series of our WTF1’s F101 explainer videos where fans are taken through what the new important F1 regulation changes mean, how they will impact teams and drivers, and who the WTF1 team expects to capitalise on the changes.
Synonymous with quality and performance, Elgato products are either state-of-the-art inventions in their own right, or reimagined technologies designed to revolutionize creative workflows. Software and firmware are frequently updated to keep producers at the cutting edge of their craft. And cross-compatibility delivers a seamless user experience that keeps evolving as the Elgato ecosystem grows.
“We are thrilled to be partnering up with WTF1 and making it official. As genuine fans of the entertainment, content, and hard work that the team puts out, it’s an honour to have our name and brand alongside theirs,” said Elgato’s Tom Hildreth, Senior Partnerships Manager.
The Race Media, WTF1 and The Race continue to post impressive results across all its digital platforms including an ever-growing audience in the USA which has become the No. 1 market for both brands.
