Jonathan Noble - The Race

LONDON, UK (Monday, January 6, 2025) The Race is delighted to announce the award-winning Jonathan Noble will join its Formula 1 content team for 2025.

Over a career spanning more than 25 years, Noble has established a reputation as one of the finest news reporters in the sport. His paddock contacts, nose for a story, and deep knowledge of the sport, perfectly complements The Race’s established team of Scott Mitchell-Malm, Edd Straw and Mark Hughes.

As part of his role at The Race, Noble will continue to attend the majority of F1 races, contributing to the website, podcast, video and social media output for the brand.

Andrew van de Burgt, The Race CEO and founder said: “I’ve known Jon for 25 years and have always enjoyed working with him and have immense respect for his abilities. With the F1 calendar ever expanding, we needed additional resource and I cannot think of a better person for the role.

Jonathan Noble said: “I’m excited to be working with The Race this year as it embarks on the next stages of its growth.

“It has pulled together a great team of people, and I’m looking forward to linking up again with many colleagues I enjoyed working with in the past as we aim to deliver the best content possible from the F1 paddock.”

Since its launch in February 2020, The Race has enjoyed spectacular growth. In 2024, it generated over 13m podcast listens, 45m website page impressions, and 160m video views. It also saw its social media audience surpass half a million followers.

There are Spanish and Portuguese versions of The Race YouTube channel, with Italian and Arabic-language channels launching in 2025.
